Driveways in Brockworth

Brockworth is largely post-war and later estate housing under Cooper's Hill, with a big stretch of newer development around Coopers Edge. The older stock around Ermin Street and Court Road has concrete or tarmac drives from the original build, often narrow, with a strip of lawn beside them that people want turned into a second parking space.

The new-build side of the village has the opposite problem: shallow developer block paving that has settled unevenly within a few years. Ground at the foot of the escarpment holds water after heavy rain, so the dig-out depth and the sub-base do the real work here. We check where water ends up before quoting anything.
